Thornton Montgomery Mortimer grew up in an idyllic little town on the San Francisco Bay, but
he traded that in for the grit and grime of New York City, where he earned an MA in English Lit.
After college he bounced around as a newspaper reporter and freelance editor among other
endeavors. He’s an avid reader of all things literary, fantastical or horrific (the worst of which is
human history). He is the author of The Holocaust in Albert Schechter, and the upcoming
novels, The Death of Kings, and The Prince & the Jester.
